We respect the confidential nature of data and information received from clients and potential clients of the Institute for Trend Research (ITR®).  We will not disclose or otherwise share any confidential data or information entrusted to us unless we are required to do so as a matter of law or in the event that an illegal activity.  While we work hard to respect and protect the confidential nature of your data and information,  it is not possible to absolutely warrant that the information and data and you provide us with this data at your own risk.

Site Integrity

Sharing your password with others so that they may gain access to the data, forecasts, EcoTrends®, and other services provided through this site is not allowed unless prior written arrangements have been made with the Institute for Trend Research.

Cookies

A cookie is a very small text file placed on your hard drive by a Web Page server.  It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.  It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you.  We may place one or more cookies on your computer.  These cookies may be used to remind us who you are and what features or premium services you have registered for or to estimate our audience size and target marketing based on user interest.

Because of the uncertainty of future events and circumstances and because the contents are based on data and information provided by third parties upon which ITR has relied in producing its reports and forecasts in good faith, we do not warrant that our forecasts, projections, advice, recommendations or the contents of any report, presentation or other document will be accurate or achievable and ITR will not be liable for the contents or for actions a client may or may not take based on our forecasts, projections, advice, recommendations or the contents of any report, presentation.

You are entirely liable for activities conducted by you or anyone else in connection with your browsing and use of services and forecasts.  If you are not satisfied with the services and forecasts or restrictions on their use, your only remedy is to cease using the services and forecasts.  We will not pay any damages.

ITR does not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or other characteristics of any data, trend inputs, or resulting projections and forecasts.  We will not be liable for any loss or injury resulting directly or indirectly from utilizing or failing to utilize the data, trend inputs, projections, or forecasts, whether or not caused in whole or in part by our negligence or by contingencies within or beyond our control.  This should be understood to include technical inaccuracies and/or typographical errors.

Access to our website and our data, services, and forecasts is at your own risk.  Our services and forecasts are provided for individual use by the acquiring person or corporation and is sold as is without warranty for any purpose.  

ITR is not a part of and will not be a party to transactions you may engage in between yourself and a third party.  This is understood to include third parties identified and linked from our website.
